THE RULES


BASICS AND OUT OF CHARACTER:

1. No chatspeak.
2. No spamming.
3. No rude remarks to other roleplayers.
4. No flaming others.
5. No stealing other players' ideas.

IN CHARACTER:

1. You may have two teachers (tops) and as many students as you like. Please do not put all your students in one house, or we will temporarily ban that specific house.
2. AS OF SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2009, A 300+ WORD COUNT WILL GO INTO EFFECT. Anyone who does not follow will recieve a warning.
3. Please use correct grammar and punctuation.
4. No power playing (posting what another player says or does) or Godmoding (being more powerful than another; students may have their own special powers, but nothing such as immortality).
5. Once the Sorting Ceremony thread has been completed, first years are banned for the year. Just make pretend characters.

JOINING AND BIOGRAPHIES

1. Follow the biography form exactly as listed. We will post "ACCEPTED" on the thread. Then you may begin roleplaying!
2. Please wait until your character is accepted before you make your first post.
3. We will accept your character within 24 hours. If there is anything you're missing or have done wrong, we will contact you.
4. You only choose your House if you are a second year or above. From now on, we choose the House your first year is in.

"OF THE MONTH"

1. Okay, be modest, people. Don't vote for yourself just because you want to see your name up there. Be patient and you will win eventually. DO NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF. THE ADMINS WILL HUNT YOU DOWN. Mooney knows where you sleep >D
2. If you win an "of the Month," you recieve the prize of +1 karma point for each spot you get. There are plenty, so be assured, there is a high chance you will win SOMETHING.
3. If you're going to vote, do so BEFORE the two days, ten hours are up. Polls will only be unlocked if there is a tie.
4. Starting on the 28th of September, when the new polls are up, you ARE REQUIRED TO REPLY TO THE THREAD, STATING WHO YOU VOTED FOR. No lying.

IMPORTANT!
Teachers must be always ACTIVE! Taking up a teacher is a huge responsibility. Please consider your habits before becoming one. If a teacher is inactive, we will post the teacher as open for anyone who wants to play them. If you're inactive for 5 days, (and haven't posted in "Absent") you will be hearing from us. 15 will cause your character will be deleted. No questions asked.

Students must also be active, especially when playing in a sport or in an important part of a plot. If you're a student and you're inactive for 20 days, and haven't posted anything in "Absent", you will be deleted.
