it all started with the deaths of alaina potter and carson lupin. they came as such shocks that no
one knew what to do, or how to interpret the way in which their bodies were discovered. they were
maimed, contorted almost to the point of nonrecognition, found inside castle walls. and even though
their murders were solved, and the culprits sent to azkaban, everyone knew something was still out
there, and it was growing in number by the minute. but no one with that knowledge could prove it, no
one had evidence that dresden malfoy and parker flint weren't working on their own. the students were
hesitant to come back, because they knew this wasn't the end. even the professors can feel the
tension inside castle walls, though they put up a facade that they know nothing. what would you do,
when faced with the very real suspicion that someone you know might be a murderer? some join the
good side, start an alliance that's only goal is to keep each other safe. or, if you are pureblood and
have the right family ties, you join a group that is starting to call themselves the dark tribe.
others just try to please both sides, staying neutral until one can prove the other has ill intentions.
only one thing can be for certain as the two thousand and seventy seven hogwart's school year
starts, we'll all try to confide in the patron saint of liars and fakes.
